PAOK U17 team recorded an important and hard-fought victory at Komotini. They defeated Panthrakikos 1-0 on Monday and regained top spot of the Superleague U17 standings with 35 points, ahead of PAS Giannina who trail by one. The troops of Alexis Tasoulis and Thanos Kourtoglou have also a game in hand.

The only goal of the encounter was scored by Chatzidimpas after 19 minutes of play, following an excellent move and an assist by Makousis.

Panthrakikos tried to level the encounter and created some decent opportunities, but PAOK goalkeeper Marios Siampanis was up to the task and didn’t permit the home side to celebrate a goal.
