Slovenian Vinčić appointed for PAOK – ACF Fiorentina

Slovenian referee Slavko Vinčić has been assigned the UEFA Europa League matchday 1 encounter between PAOK and ACF Fiorentina in Toumba Stadium.

12.09.2016

Born on 25 November 1979 in Slovenia, Slavko Vinčić has been an international referee since 2010 and, two years later, he was part of Damir Skomina’s team in UEFA Euro 2012.

He officiated his first UEFA Europa League encounter on 8 July 2010, when Torpedo Zhodino prevailed 3-1 away at Fylkir, with the Slovenian referee awarding two penalties.

A few weeks ago, he handled the encounter of Olympiacos in Portugal against FC Arouca for the UEFA Europa League play-offs.

In Toumba, he will be accompanied by assistant referees Bojan Ul andTomaž Klančnik, with Andraž Kovacic acting as fourth official. Roberto Ponis and Nejc Kajtazovic complete the team as additional assistant referees.

Graham Hover (Englan) will be the UEFA Delegate for this encounter and Jouni Hyytiä (Finland) the UEFA Referee Observer.
