The exquisite combination of the “Double-Headed Eagle” players in their first goal against Atromitos in Peristeri was voted Play of the Month of March by users of paokfc.gr and PAOK FC Official App.
It was really hard to “personify” the candidacy for best play, since the final result was due to the impeccable combination and synchronization of three players.
It would be more fitting to present the award to Răzvan Lucescu, but, since poll rules don’t allow it, it’s the team skipper who gets it. He was the connecting “link” of the play after all. Dimitris Pelkas took the free kick with a pass, Adelino Vieirinha produced a stunning lobbed pass towards Djalma Campos who ‘executed’ Gianniotis.
The Portuguese player gets the nak Play of the Month of March award with 45,05% of the vote cast by users of paokfc.gr and PAOK FC Official App in the poll organized by PAOK FC and nak Shoes.
Vieirinha won this award for a second consecutive time, after prevailing in February as well. Dimitris Pelkas was voted in second place, for dribbling his way past three opponents and setting up José Ángel Crespo in the same match. Róbert Mak completes the podium for his assist to Djalma Campos in Tripoli.
