Living in the “House of PAOK”

Trainings, homework, proper nutrition, gym, relaxing, consistency, discipline, perseverance, patience… Add all that to the peculiarities of adolescence and being away from their family and you get an explosive combination.

PAOK FC have taken all aspects into consideration and found the golden ratio, so that children deciding to leave their homes and live in the House of PAOK will have at their disposal everything they need for their physical, spiritual and mental development.

According to the manager of the “House of PAOK” Mr Grigoris Karavelis, “it’s the fourth year the house has been open and, along with the children, we have encountered the way to make our everyday life extremely functional”.

Thirteen people work at the Academy dorms, providing the young athletes with optimum living conditions. Many more people also occupy themselves with the children, including teachers who see to their education, and doctors of course. Competitive sports and studying lead parallel lives, as PAOK make it a point to educate integrated personalities.

There are 51 children residing this season at the dorms of PAOK, while being taught football at PAOK FC Youth and Development sections:
