Medical report regarding Wernbloom
Pontus Wernbloom underwent surgery on Wednesday morning, performed by Manolis Papakostas, head of PAOK medical services. The ruptured tendon’s ends were sewn together with special sutures and tendon autograft.
Pontus Wernbloom will start mild kinesiotherapy right away and will work at a higher pace once the stitches come off (in about 10-12 days). For the next six weeks, he will be wearing a special orthopedic boot.
