Under-19’s earn draw in Dublin
PAOK’s Under-19 side opened their UEFA Youth League campaign on Wednesday with a creditable 1-1 first-leg draw against Bohemians FC in Dublin.
The PAOK youngsters, coached by Pablo Garcia and Miroslav Sznaucner produced a solid away performance against a tough opponent and came away from Ireland with the slight advantage ahead of the return leg at the Toumba in three weeks time.
All the scoring was done within the first 10 minutes in a frenetic start to the match. The home side took the lead early on after six minutes, but just four minutes later PAOK were level courtesy of Gaitanidis’ equalizing goal.

PAOK goalkeeper Talichmanidis also made a fine save to deny the hosts a goal from the penalty in the 34th minute. Despite further chances for both teams, the scoreline remained unchanged and the tie remains delicately balanced in favor of PAOK
