A few days off are always necessary, as well as refreshing. The festive break is now over, and players and coaching staff returned to training on Sunday afternoon.
Sunday’ training session took place at the Toumba and was characterized by drills focused on re-energizing and blowing off the cobwebs after the mini-break. After some warm-up exercises, there was a game of rondo, possession games and a friendly match.
Omar El Kaddouri and Leo Jaba remain sidelined and continued their treatment and recovery programs, as did Fernando Varela, while Pontus Wernbloom did some work out on the pitch.
Abel Ferreira was not present in training due to some delays with flights, so the session was ran by Vitor Castanheira.
On Monday (30.12) PAOKwill train again at 10:30 in Nea Mesimvria.
