No away fans for the two matches between PAOK and Levski Sofia
After numerous contacts with UEFA, meetings between the two clubs, and following the strict suggestions of the police authorities and the relevant ministries, it was been decided that the matches between PAOK and Levski Sofia will take place without visiting fans.
Something which played an important role in the decision is the fact that there is the additional difficulty of catering for the demand for tickets for home fans due to both sides having to serve punishments of a ban on organized fan groups for the tie, while especially for PAOK for which the penalty includes a ban on away fans, further complicated matters.
As a result of the above, the 19,000 tickets available for the second lef of the tie at the Toumba will be available exclusively to PAOK fans.
We hope that this will be the last time our team will be forced to play away from home without the presence of their fans as a new – and hopefully long – European journey begins.
