Five-star Under-17s in Ioannina
Tsiapakidis’ and Hagan’s PAOK Under-17 side made light work of PAS Giannina on a sun-drenched afternoon in Ioannina, thumping the home side 5-0 and making it 4 wins out of 4, with just two more matchdays to go before the end of the first phase of the Super League championship.
It was a straightforward victory for teh visitors, who won with ease, while having almost all of the possession and little resistance. PAOK scored five beautiful goals, with a variety of scorers to boot. The first goal was scored by Chatsidis from an assist by Koupenos in the 20th minute, while Kosidis made it 2-0 with a header following Karaioannou’s corner.
In added time at the end of the first half, the Double-headed Eagle scored a third goal with Politakis finding the net from Karaioannou’s free-kick. In the second half, PAOK picked up the pace even more, but only managed to score two more goals. In the 62nd minute, Karaioannou took a corner and Avrampos made it four with a header. Finally, in the 90th minute, Telos passed for Kalaitsidis to score to make the final scoreline 5-0 to the dominant visitors.
