Under-17’s hit Lamia for six
It was a very good morning for PAOK’s Under-17 side in Lamia as Tsiapakidis’ and Hagan’s young charges beat the hosts 6-0 on Matchday 15 of the Super League, a result which obviously means they remain at the top of their group with 32 points from 13 matches.
A dominant PAOK started strongly and they should have been in the first half, with Sapanis’ hitting the post in the 20th minute, and then Vryzas seeing his penalry kick saved by the Lamia goalkeeper. There were also a clutch of other opportunities passed up by the visiting players as the first-half ended goalless
PAOK were more effective in the second 45 minutes, however. In the 57th minute, Kesidis passed to Polykratis who made it 1-0, while on the hour mark Kesidis procued another assist for Tsiotas to score for 2-0. Four minutes later, Papageorgiou’s shot hit the crossbar, but Tsiotas’ found the net in the 65th minute to score PAOK’s third goal. In the 70th minute, Sapanis made it four and in the 82nd minute, Tolios scored following an assist from Mythos. PAOK’s sixth goal was scored by Mythos in the 90th minute, the forward taking advantage of Tsobanis‘ pass.
