PAOK beat Niki Volos 3-1 [with pictures]

In a game of few chanches but a good tempo, PAOK B showed their clinical side and comfortably saw off the challenge of Niki Volos on Matchday 23 of the 2022-23 Betsson Super League 2.

PAOK B returned to action with a three-point haul after the weekend break. The Double-headed Eagle’s second string converted their chances, completely dominated the pitch, and cruised to victory with two goals in the last 10 minutes.

Niki Volos surprised the hosts and got themselves in front after just four minutes thanks to a header from Giora after Miranda’s corner kick. PAOK B quickly searched for an equaliser.

On 32 minutes Chatzistravos missed a good chance and two minutes later Gordeziani won a penalty, and Darelas was on target with his spot-kick to make it 1-1 going into half-time.

The second half was dominated by tough marking, strong duels and a lot of errors. PAOK B again had the lion’s share of possession, and they missed a great opportunity through Spirakos in the 77th minute, but the young winger did not miss in the 84th minute. He made it 2-1 with a nice individual goal and then Panidis added a stoppage time strike from distance to make the final score 3-1.
