A first nomination for Sualio Meite kicks off the contest! The French midfielder opened his account with PAOK with a very impressive goal in the match against PAS Ioannina at the Toumba. In the 49th minute, Murg delivered a free-kick, the PAS defenders could not react, and the ball ended up at teh feet of Meite who made it 2-0 with a lobbed effort.
Our second candidate is Andrija. Živković. The Serbian winger scored with yet another flawlessly placed effort this season. In the 78th minute, Ioannis Konstantelias produced an excellent piece of individual play, before offloading the ball to Zile who passed the ball into the back of the net past a helpless Katsikas to make the final score 4-0 against Panserraikos in Serres in the quarter-finals of the Betsson Greek Cup.
The next two nominations belong to Kiril Despodov . The first was against NFC Volos, with the Double-headed Eagle players perfectly executing a corner routine, which had the Bulgarian as the final recipient of the ball. Despodov hit a terrific shot, leaving no room for Kostic to react and make it 3-0. The second goal of his was the result of another great team effort. Taison stole possession, made one of his famous runs, then passed at exactly the right time to Despodov, who applied a powerful finish to open the scoring in the derby against Panathinaikos at Toumba Stadium.
Finally, the two wonderful goals from Ioannis Constantelias, against NFC Volos and Panserraikos, could not be left out. In the match at the Panthessaliko Stadium, he opened the scoring with an impeccable individual run and finish. The second was equally impressive. After a pass from A. Živković, Mr. Breeze controlled teh ball impressively in the penalty area and clipped the ball over Katsikas effortlessly to make it 5-0 against Panserraikos.
