Lamia vs. PAOK: Facts & Figures

- PAOK have dominated Lamia in the last 13 matches, in which they have recorded 13 wins irrespective of venue. In fact, until the game in the first half of the season between the two teams, the Double-headed Eagle had won eight games without conceding a single goal.
- With the goal he scored at the Toumba, Arabouli became the first Lamia player to score against PAOK in a league match, while the overall score of their matches was 14-0 at the Toumba and 20-0 overall at both grounds. The final 2-1 result this season came after goals from Lyratzis and Kurtic , making the final scoring 22-1 for the matches between them in the championship.
- In Lamia so far, PAOK have not conceded a goal in their six visits there in the league and have six victories. In these games, the scores have been shared with 2-0 and 1-0 having two appearances each. The same had happened in the matches at the Toumba, since the victories recorded were two with a 3-0 result and two with a 4-0 scoreline, one by 2-1 and another by 1-0. The 3-0 win on January 7 2023 added to the mix of results.
- No PAOK player has scored twice in a match in Lamia, with Pelkas, Mauricio, Varela, Leo Matos, Tzolis and Vieirinha all count one goal each. Prijovic is the only one who has scored twice in a match against Lamia – but that was at the Toumba, while only Tzolis and Pelkas have scored in both home and away matches against Lamia.
- Until their first match in the league in 2017-18, the two teams had met three times in the Greek Cup and in fact their maiden clash was in the 1971-72 season in the semi-finals of the competition, where PAOK prevailed 2- 0. Further matches followed in 1984-84, where the Double-headed Eagle prevailed 6-0 in Thessaloniki and 9-1 in Lamia.
- The draw brought them face to face again in 2020-21 for the quarter-finals of the competition, where PAOK prevailed 5-2 at the Toumba while the second leg ended in a draw (1-1).
