PAOK’s second string  took the lead through Papastylianou following an assist by Sznaucner, and Tsintsolis helped his team to maintain that lead, saving a penalty in the second half.

An unfortunate lowlight from the game was that Giorgos Koupenos was injured just seconds before a substitution was made. The severity of his injury will be assessed after he undergoes an MRI.
