PAOK B had the initiative from the beginning of the game, without however translating it into noteworthy final goal atttempts. That was until the 24th minute, when Tsopouroglou surged into the penalty area nicely from the right, and his effort on goal came off Dermitzakis and into the net for an own goal to give PAOK B the lead.

It’s worth noting that Dimitris Tsopouroglou is the 100th player PAOK have used in their B team. The home side showed good circulation of the ball and more self-confidence, trying to take advantage of the momentum and score a second goal. However, no goals were added in the first half and the teams went into the dressing rooms at 1-0 to PAOK B.

PAOK B started the second half as they had finished the first, in control of the game in what was essentially, a «monologue», but without creating a big chance. The good passing certainly paid off in the 66th minute, though. Kanis passed to Kosidis, who was tripped in the area. The subsequent penalty for 2-0 was taken and scored by Gitersos.

Kostikas was sent off for a second yellow card in the 60th minute. Until the end, PAOK maintained control, had chances for a third goal, and were not seriously threatened.

Unfortunately, however, Giorgos Koulouris was forced to leave the game a few minutes after he had entered the field as a substitute due to injury. The initial assessment is that he has a muscle injury.

The team is already now preparing for the next game, in which they will welcome Makedonikos.
