Under-19s defeat Kifissia 2-1
PAOK’s U-19 side scored two goals in the first 12 minutes, claimed the victory (2-1) over Kifissia, and remained at the top of the table. The squad are now already preparing for tomorrow’s trip to Warsaw, where they will face Legia for the UEFA Youth League in mid-week.
PAOK took all three points in the Matchday 11 clash of the Super League, which took place on Saturday afternoon in Souroti, and moved on to 20 points from eight games.
The home side opened the score in the third minute, when after a cross by Giokas, the ball bounced off a Kifissia defender and ended up in the net. Eleftheriadis made it 2-0 with a penalty kick, which was won by Stylos. The visitors reduced the deficit, also with a penalty, in the 85th minute.
The squad will train on Sunday morning in Souroti and then depart for Warsaw, where they will compete with Legia Warsaw on 25.11 in the 3rd round of the Domestic Champions path of the UEFA Youth League.
