«We will give it all for the title»

Champions in 2013 and a title contender, PAOK U17s are ready to return to Agrinio and, from there, to the top of the Super League!

23.05.2015

PAOK’s fifth consecutive participation in the U17 Final Four is indication of their consistency and dynamics, Alexis Tasoulis believes. The U17 coach has been working with these guys since 2010. “We want to achieve the perfect ending to an equally perfect season and we will give it all to clinch the title”, he says.

Echoing his players’ feelings as well, Mr. Tasoulis declares himself happy and looks forward to his team’s starring role in this football feast. “Apart from the Final Four being an integral part of the players’ education and experience gathering, our clear objective is to win the league title by displaying our own game style as dictated by our academy philosophy”.

“Our goal is to impose our fast and creative football. I believe that our mental preparation, our way of handling stress and pressure will play a huge part in the outcome. Physical condition of all teams will be equally important –let’s not forget they will have to negotiate two crucial games in a span of three days”.

PAOK U17 coach congratulated PAS Giannina and Asteras Tripolis for their maiden participation in the Final Four, and Olympiacos as well for their consistent presence in the league deciding procedure.

“I hope we will watch three spectacular, nail-biting matches, reflecting the quality and dynamics of the participating teams. I wish that the best prepared team will claim the league title”.

  • Super League U17 Final Four will be held at Agrinio from 28 to 30 May and will be broadcast live on Novasports TV. The semi-finals will be played on 28 May: PAOK – Asteras Tripolis (8 p.m.) and Olympiacos – PAS Giannina (5 p.m.).
