Angelos Zilos is a very capable central defender, displaying intelligence, good perception and solid technical abilities. Another of his strong points is his height, and therefore his aerial ability. He is a champion at both Under-15 and Under-17 level. Being a member of the Under-19 squad, moreover, in September 2021 he received – unofficially at least – a «baptism of fire» by participating in a first-team pre-season friendly game against Veria.
