Looking to recover in the Super League
PAOK clinched qualification for the last 32 of the UEFA Europa League and now they are fighting against time to turn the situation around in the Super League as well.
Three back-to-back defeats by Panionios, Atromitos and Panathinaikos have left the “Two-Headed Eagle” behind in the Super League standings. Their effort to recover lost ground begins (or rather continues) with the encounter against Platanias.
On Friday 9 December, PAOK players trained in two groups, as usual on the day after a match. Those who started the encounter against FC Slovan Liberec did recuperation and decompression work in the pool.
Those who featured as substitutes or didn’t play at all on Thursday, came out on the pitch to work on their transition game and attacking deployment. There are no injury problems reported.
Saturday’s training session will start at 18:00 in Toumba Stadium.
