He is in his second season at the “Double-Headed Eagle” and wants to win it all, after celebrating the Greek Cup trophy last year. He tops the appearances’ list with 15 so far, he is second in the minutes-played chart with more than 1.300, leads the assists’ list with 5 and has already scored 2 goals.

Léo Matos remains PAOK’s barometer this season as well. He is lining up excellent performances and gives another dimension to the role of full-back. The Brazilian player was outstanding in October and helped the “Double-Headed Eagle” both in defence and attack.

In the poll organized by paokfc.gr and PAOK FC Official App, Matos got 43,33% of the fans’ vote and earned the 11888 MVP of October award, opening his 2017-18 account.

To make it though, he went through a tough duel with Maurício, who ended up second. The unlucky midfielder of the “Double-Headed Eagle” improved his performances considerably in October, but got injured and has been sidelined ever since. Carlos Zambrano completes the podium after a series of fine displays.
