Work before departure
On Thursday morning, the “Double-Headed Eagle” held their last training session on Thessaloniki soil, before leaving for Athens for the Greek Cup final against AEK Athens.
Răzvan Lucescu and his assistants worked with the players on tactical issues through drills and games, ahead of the big clash.
On Thursday evening, the whole football section of the “Double-Headed Eagle” went to Makedonia Airport for their flight to Athens.
On Friday (11 May), PAOK will hold their pre-match press conference at 18:15 in the press room of the Olympic Stadium of Athens. Apart from the head coach, Adelino Vieirinha will be there to represent his team-mates. The last training session is scheduled to start at 19:00, giving players and coaching staff the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the venue.
