Fitness conditioning and long-awaited ball work

Tuesday’s (12.05) training session was a little bit different to what has been the norm in the previous few days. The squad again worked in smaller groups, keeping safe distances from each other, but this time the session included some football.

The first part of the training session was devoted to fitness conditioning, with the players carrying out a plethora of exercises, both with and without the ball. There were also drills focusing on speed with obstacles, and also stretching.

After that, it was time for the players to finally start playing some football. Abel Ferreira instructed his players with a detailed brief and the players then executed passing drills, and build-up play with specific tactics for the first time since the squad returned to training. Finally, the session was wrapped up with some finishing practice.

On Wednesday (13.05) the Dikefalos tou Vorra players will train again at Nea Mesimvria.
