Tziolis Wins Fans’ Man of the Match Award

Christos Tziolis came out on top in the vote via paokfc.gr and PAOK FC Official App as the ΙΕΚ Delta 360 Fans’ Man of the Match for the UEFA Champions League 2nd qualifying round clash against Besiktas.

Ideal. Dreamlike. Αmazing. Magical. There are a lot of words which could be used to describe Christos Tziois’ European debut. PAOK took the first step towards qualifying for the Champions League, and the young ace was the star of the show.

The Double-headed Eagle made an exceptional start, only needing a little over half an hour to go three goals up against Besiktas. Or as long as it took Tziolis to score twice and provide an assist, if you prefer.

The young forward made the vote for the IEK Delta 360 Fans’ Man of the Match via paokfc.gr and the PAOK FC Official App a one-man show, collecting 64,7% of the votes to win the award.

In second place was Chuba Akpom. He may have missed a penalty but the English striker contributed an assist and produced a great all-round display, helping the team both in defence and attack.

Dimitris Pelkas was third. The Joker took the captain’s armband for what was a crucial match and he was the leader that PAOK needed to get the positive result, bringing character, passion and desire, as well as scoring a goal.
