PAOK B are all set for Veria contest
PAOK B are all set to entertain league leaders Veria on Wednesday (24.11, 15.00) at the Makedonikos Stadium for Matchday 4 of the Betsson Super League 2.
The Double-headed Eagle second string squad are seeking their first victory in the championship against traditionally strong opponents, who they came up against twice in pre-season friendlies.
The training on Tuesday morning in Souroti included some adaptation exercises, work on reaction speeds, passing and moving the ball in limited spaces, and of course, some drills on finishing and set-pieces.
PAOK B will be deprived of the services of Kyriakos Giaxis, who was unlucky to get injured in the match with Triglia, while Petros Kaloutsikidis failed to complete today’s training session, withdrawing mid-way through with some discomfort in his knee. Unfortunately Titos Koutentakis, who also injured his knee, is also sidelined.
Ismahila Ouédraogo is back, Tachatos was also included in the squad, while there is a change in the goalkeepers, with Konstantinos Balomenos coming in from the first team to take part in this specific game.
