PAOK B return to winning ways [with pictures]
With a goal from Koutsias in the second minute of added time, PAOK B defeated Olmypiacos Volos 2-1 and got back on the winning trail. Despite the difficult weather conditions, the match was an entertaining affair with passion, three goals, plenty of other chances, and a dismissal.
PAOK B took the initiative and threatened in the 31st minute with Spyridis, in the 35th and in the 43rd minutes with Panidis, but no goal was forthcoming and the first half ended goalless. The Double-headed Eagle were even more dynamic in the second half, with Tsopouroglou losing the first big opportunity of the half in the 47th minute, and Tsaousis following two minutes later.
In the 51st minute, the visitors were redcued to ten players due to the dismissal of Manga due to picking up a second yellow card, and five minutes later the opening goal came. In the 56th minute, Grosdis played an excellent ball thorugh to Bradonic, who made it 1-0, scoring a goal in the second consecutive game. Olympiacos Volou, however, found a way to equalize in the 59th minute via Siafas.
A half hour of absolute domination by PAOK followed, with the winning goal finally coming in the 92nd minute. Fasidis sent a cross into the penalty area and Koutsias scord with a close-range header to make it 2-1.
