Focus switches to Volos
The derby with Panathinaikos belongs in the past. PAOK were the better side on the night, but were held to a draw and now turn their attention to the away game against NFC Volos at the Panthessaliko Stadium.
After a day off on Monday, the players and coaching staff returned to work on Tuesday (17.09) afternoon and began their preparations for the upcoming match in Volos.
Those who were in the starting XI against Panathinaikos followed a recovery and rehabilitation program, while the rest of the squad worked on ball circulation, build-up play, and they also played out a high-intensity friendly.
Dejan Lovren had his first training session with his new teammates, and he completed the whole program. Tarik Tissoundali had a high-intensity individual session and his condition will be re-evaluated tomorrow. Brandon Thomas did some phsyiotherapy and an individual program in the swimming pool, while Antonis Tsiftsis missed training as he is struggling with groin pain and will be sideliend for an unconfirmed period, while he will also be evaluated daily by the medical staff.
On Wednesday (18.09) PAOK will train at 17:00 in Nea Mesimvria.
