Italian coach Gianpaolo Castorina, born in 1976, holds a UEFA Pro License.
As a player, he spent several seasons in Serie B, reaching the peak of his career with Monza and Siena, making a total of 112 appearances. He retired in 2010 after three years with Virtus Entella.
Following his retirement, he joined Virtus Entella as an assistant coach for the first team, and later as a youth coach. Under his guidance, the U19 side reached the final of the 2017 Coppa Italia Primavera, but lost to Roma with an aggregate score of 3-1. In 2017, he was promoted to first-team coach but was replaced during the season, returning to Virtus Entella in 2018 as a youth coach, where he won the Dante Berretti Championship in 2019.
In 2020, after 13 years at Entella, he joined Razvan Lucescu’s staff, first at Al-Hilal and then at PAOK. In the summer of 2022, he returned to Italy to coach Parma U18, before coming back to PAOK in July 2023.
