Next mission: Giannina
After securing victory in Agrinio, PAOK lead now the standings of the Super League Souroti. Now they need to hold on to that lead in the tough-to-conquer ground of PAS Giannina.
After a much-needed rest on Monday, players and coaching staff returned to work on Tuesday evening in Nea Mesimvria.
All players participated in the warm-up routine and played a possession game before splitting into two groups.
Those who featured in the Agrinio match did jogging and then followed a decompression and recuperation program in the gym and the pool.
The remaining players engaged in games in reduced space, against two goals with two goalkeepers and then against three mini goals and one goalkeeper.
Dimitris Pelkas put on a special protective mask and started working with the rest of the team, but avoided duels with his teammates. He is expected to be at the disposal of Răzvan Lucescu for the encounter against PAS Giannina.
Omar El Kaddouri did an MRI that showed he has suffered a recurrence of his right hamstring sprain. The Moroccan midfielder started his recovery program and is expected back to action in 2-3 weeks.
Tuesday’s training session is scheduled to start in PAOK FC Sports Centre in Nea Mesimvria at 11:00.
