Tactics ahead of visit to «Leoforos»
Two days before the next “battle” with Panathinaikos in Athens, this time for the 2022-23 Super League, the PAOK camp are finalizing their preparatrions, with the weight in training falling on the tactical approach of the upcoming encounter.
Friday’s (20.01) training session started with a warm-up and some rondo. Then the players worked in two groups alternately. While one was practicing finishing, the other, together with the coaches, dealt with build-up play from the defensive zones. In the last part of the session, the players contested a friendly match.
Marios Tsaousis, Omar El Kaddouri, Filipe Soares and Nicolas Quagliata followed an individual program, Thomas Murg received some treatment and did a program in the swimming pool and gym, while Jasmin Kurtic continued the special injury recovery program that he is following.
On Saturday (21.01) PAOK will train at 10:30 at the Toumba before departing for Athens on a charter flight in the afternoon from Macedonia Airport.
